Green Cardamom offers a distinct blend of sweet and spicy aromatics in gin, and will help bridge the gap between fruity and earthy flavours. Used sparingly, paired with other big flavours like juniper and coriander, cardomom is resinous, cooling, and sweet-smelling.
Every distillery has its secret mix of botanicals. Besides Juniper Berry, most Gins contain citrus botanicals such as lemon and bitter orange peel, anise, angelica root and seed, orris root, licorice root, cinnamon, cubeb, savoury, lime peel, grapefruit peel.
Note: We recommend bruising the Cardamom shells in a mortar and pestle to the release their seeds prior to preparing your botanical basket
