Gladfield Dark Crystal is made in a specialised roasting drum. The emphasis is on sweetness and evenness of crystalization. The evenness of colour is acheived by using the latest in technology in malt roasting & heat recirculation. Crystal malts can be used in varying amounts & intensities to an array of beer styles to add colour, flavour & aroma to the beer.

It is important to use Crystal malts fresh to get the best results.
