Qual ALK CIP is a heavy -duty, liquid, chlorinated cleaner designed for circulation and pressure spray cleaning of brewery equipment. Its primary use is in automated Clean In Place systems.

Excellent results are obtained in these systems using low concentrations of QUEL ALK CIP. This versatile low foaming cleaner can also be used in soaking applications.

Description

Directions for use:

 

CIP and Spray Cleaning:

(Cold process pipelines, bulk and process tanks, and product lines)

  1. Rinse equipment immediately after use
  2. Circulate QUEL ALK CIP solution at a concentration of 12ml to 20ml per 4L, 60°C – 65°C, for 15 to 30 minutes
  3. Rinse with potable water
  4. Sanitise equipment

Soak Cleaning

  1. Add water to COP tank
  2. Add QUEL ALK CIP to COP tank at appropriate concentration
  3. Turn on circulation pumps
  4. Heat water to 49°C – 60°C
  5. Add parts to be cleaned and allow to soak for minimum 20 minutes
  6. Inspect and hand scrub as necessary
  7. Drain COP tank and rinse parts
  8. Properly sanitise clean parts
