Still Spirits Copper Alembic Dome Top and Condenser

This Alembic Pot Still is made up of the Alembic Dome Top and Pot Alembic Condenser.

These additions transform the T500, Grainfather or Boiler Base into an Alembic Pot Dome & condenser.  Instead of stripping flavours to give clean spirit like the T500, this pot dome retains and enhances flavours. This can be used when distilling washes that contain flavours that you wish to collect such as our own Botanical Blends .

The Pot Alembic Condenser is best used with the Grainfather or T500 Boiler and the Pot Alembic Dome Top. You can use this with the T500 Boiler without the Pot Alembic Dome Top, to do this it fits on to the lid of the T500 Boiler. This condenser is what differentiates this still from the T500. It is what retains the flavour rather than stripping it out by refluxing. This comes with a thermometer, tubing and tap adaptor set.

The Pot Alembic Dome Top is copper and fits on to your T500 Boiler. This can be used in place of the T500 Boiler’s stainless steel lid. The large copper surface area of this dome top acts as a catalyst with the vapour in the column and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas as well as remove unwanted sulphur compounds. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit.
