Description
Modern triploid hop Wai-iti carries a bright lime and stonefruit aroma. Despite its low alpha content, low cohumulone and high farnesene contents offers a soft bitterness. Wai-iti would make a great candidate for single-hopped beers. When brewed as a mid-late addition, Wai-iti’s citrus aromas are said to take a back seat and make way for more of a stone-fruit presence. Expect a similar profile to Riwaka but more smooth and rounded.
