Foam Slayer (AEB Batfoam SB1)

Foam Slayer is a very effective anti-foaming agent based on food-grade silicon. AEB Batfoam SB1 can be used as it is or diluted, is active at the complete pH range (acid/basic) and at temperatures between 10 and 100°C. Its active principle prevents foam formation thanks to the reduction of the surface tension. It is used to control foam in kettle and during fermentation and is completely removed from the beer after fermentation by the yeast and filtration. Apply be adding to a small spoon measure and/or scattering droplets over the surface of your brew. Because Foam Slayer is a more concentrated product than others on the market, you may find it easier to incorporate by pulling a small sample of wort and stirring into a slurry in a small jug or measuring glass.

Usage Rate: 0.3g – 1g per 23L batch (approximately 1/8 to 1/4 teaspooon). This product is not diluted with water and therefore much more cost effective than Distilling Conditioner.
