Replacement RO Water Filter’s (3 pack) –
3 stages of filtration for the standard 4 & 5 stage reverse osmosis system – fits most brands with 2.5″ x10″ pre-filtration.
The three replacement filters included represent the prefiltration stages only for the standard residential reverse osmosis system. The pre-filtration stages help extend the service life of the reverse osmosis membrane. Long term exposure to disinfectants can damage the membrane and reduce the service life. It is important to replace the stages at the recommended intervals. Microbiological flora can eventually grow in the cartridges and also form a biofilm. Listed below are the recommended replacement schedules for the different stages:

(Stage 1) 5 Micron Spun Sediment Filter cartridge type) :
With only five micron rating. It is effective in removing dirt, rust and sand particles.
(Stage 2) Granular Activated Carbon Filter ( cartridge type) :
It removes up to 99% of the chlorine and organic chemicals. It provides enhanced reduction of taste and odour.
(Stage 3) 1 Micron Spun Sediment Filter (cartridge type) :
It provides effective filtration to protect your membrane from very fine particles.
