Fermoplus DAP Free is a nutrient based on pure autolysed yeast – the pure extract coming from the autolysis of specific strains of yeast selected for their high content in amino acids, vitamins and nitrogen. It is a balanced nutrient preparation with a high content of organic nitrogen, and is prepared without DAP (Diammonium Phosphate) with high bioavailability, both of nitrogen and lipidic compounds. During fermentation, yeast require readily assimilable nitrogen, lipidic factors – which grant resistance to high alcohol levels – and vitamins and micro-elements to facilitate metabolism. We recommend FERMOPLUS DAP FREE for all wine, mead and hard seltzer fermentations.
Usage:
– Usage Rate is one teaspoon per 23L batch for most fermentations.
– Increase dosage to 2 teaspoons (10g) per 23L batch for high gravity (1.060+) batches.
– Add at yeast pitch. It is recommended to split the dosage into three steps.
