Produce esters with citrus character. Versatile main fermentation strain.

Fermoale, originally from the United Kingdom, is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae type top-fermenting strain used for the production of specialty beers. Flavours are malt driven with fruity (apple) and citrusy (orange) notes. There is some diacetyl giving light caramel and toffee notes.
